Worship

God has blessed us with incredible opportunities for Worship in numerous ministries at Fredonia Hill. As a group, our Worship Ministry is passionate about leading our congregation in praise, writing songs for the local church, and serving behind the scenes. We believe that every moment of the day is an opportunity to worship Jesus.

All My Hope

The song All My Hope is a testimony of the goodness of God, and an invitation to be a part of that story. Written during a time when hope seemed to be in short supply in our world, the song is a reminder that even in on our toughest days, Jesus has always, and still does, bring light to dark places.

The accompanying film follows three interweaving narratives of struggle, hope, and friendship, and challenges the viewer to recall what God has done and what he is doing, through our worship as brothers and sisters in Christ and obedience to the Holy Spirit.

Doxology: Hymns of the trinity

Fredonia Hill (2017)

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the father through him.”

Colossians 3:16-17

One of the cornerstone beliefs of the Christian faith is the doctrine of the Trinity, however in the modern worship movement, there are very few songs that clearly teach and speak of the Triune God. In an effort to reintroduce the Church to doctrinally sound and theologically rich songs, we endeavored to not only write and record new songs and hymns of the past, but create a platform that emphasizes the importance of theology and scripture in our songs of worship. We believe one of the first steps in this process is to provide resources for individuals and families to worship privately as well as corporately when we come together as a church family.

ALL THE EARTH

FREDONIA HILL (2015)

All glory be to God! For we were once in a state of death and darkness but through the blood of Jesus Christ we have received eternal deliverance and have been embraced by His arms and welcomed into His Kingdom. Not only are we a part of His Kingdom, but we have the privilege to call Him Jesus - our reward. All The Earth is a joyful declaration of this truth. It focuses on acknowledging Jesus as Lord and us as His servants. The lyrics encourage the worshipper to have a humble posture both inwardly and outwardly before our Lord.

The chorus and bridge of the hymn are God’s people declaring the earth’s response to the Lord of lords. The word Hallelujah can be broken up in two parts. In Hebrew hallal means to praise, while Jah is a name of God. Essentially, the singer is uttering “Praise God.” What better way to say those words than with a humble spirit and joyful heart. Let us all rejoice as one voice and sing Hallelujah before our God for He is our reward.

We are called out of the darkness; Delivered from

our sin and death; We were rescued from the bondage; With Your blood You paid our debt.

Colossians 1:11-14

May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

We are heirs to Your kingdom;

And You are our great reward; We give our lives to You in worship;

As we serve You, Christ our Lord.

Psalm 66:1-2

Shout for joy to God, all the earth; sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise!

All the earth will sing Your glory

All the earth will sing Your praise

With one voice, sing hallelujah

With one voice we bless Your name.
